Venture through Oaxaca City, a space of immense vibrancy and culture, while closing the journey alongside the magnificent coast of San Agustinillo. Dive into the potency of the Oaxacan Mexican female lineage through guided sweat lodges, traditional massages, pottery, movement + meditation, and the infamous decadent cuisine. This is a seven day reset to rediscover purpose and will leave you feeling renewed, refreshed, and revived. What airport do I fly into?
Oaxaca International Airport (Aeropuerto Internacional Xoxocotlán)
Do I need to arrive / depart at a certain time?
Please arrive prior to 2PM (14:00) on May 30th.
Please depart after 11AM (11:00) on June 6th.
Alternative transportation will be arranged for an additional cost for those outside of these times windows.
Where can I purchase travel insurance?
WorldNomads.com is the recommended brand to use.
Travel Insurance may also be purchased through your airline. There are no minimum requirements.
Is transportation included?
Yes, all ground transportation is included beginning and ending with the airport.
Airfare is not included.
Do I need a passport?
Yes.
Your passport must have an expiration date of no less than six months after your booking return date.
Do I need a Visa?
A visa is not required for Mexico for US Citizens.
If you reside outside of the US, visa requirements will be assessed on a case by case basis.
Will we have AC / Hot Water / Wifi?
Hot Water and WiFi will be available throughout.
Fans are provided in each room, air conditioning is not available until our final night in Oaxaca City.
Do I need any vaccines?
There are no vaccines required for travel to Mexico.
If you have visited a country with yellow fever risk within six months of attending this trip, it is highly advised to carry your yellow fever vaccine card with you.
Will laundry services be available?
Laundry will be available on-site each location for an additional cost.
Will USD be accepted? How do I exchange money?
U.S. dollars are occasionally accepted, though the local currency, Mexican pesos, is strongly preferred. Guests may exchange or withdraw pesos prior to departure, upon arrival at the airport, or through ATMs available throughout the journey.
Credit cards are accepted in some locations, but should not be relied upon. We recommend carrying sufficient cash for small purchases and personal expenses.
What happens if I get sick?
Basic first-aid supplies and common over-the-counter remedies will be available on-site, including support for digestive discomfort, headaches, and dehydration.
In the event of a medical concern requiring additional care, Satsang Adventures has identified local hospitals and medical providers in each area and will assist guests in accessing appropriate support.
What is the weather like?
Oaxaca during May tends to be fairly warm. Dress for light layers and sun protection.
